Everything was perfect and Carole made us feel so at home. Very comfy beds and everything you might need so thoughtfully provided with homemade produce and scrumptious breakfasts

The hosts Carol and Alan were friendly and welcoming. We appreciated their tips on where to eat and things to do in the area. Stepping Stones is located on the edge of the New Forest and close to the coast, so the best of both worlds. The room was immaculate with lots of little extras, like delicious homemade biscuits alongside tea/coffee making facilities and a stock of vanity kits you would normally find in a hotel. Breakfast was amazing; a selection of fresh fruit, a number of cooked food options (using homemade or home grown produce), home baked sourdough bread and preserves. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend and felt thoroughly spoilt. We definitely recommend staying at Stepping Stones.

Nothing we didnt like

This is an extremely well run B&B. Our room was clean and had all the facilities (including a small fridge). The breakfasts were excellent with lots of local or home-sourced food. Carol was full of information and couldn't have been more helpful.

The shower was a little difficult to operate. Hordle is well positioned for visiting both the coast and the New Forest, but (not a criticism) I would recommend having transport if staying here, because it is just a little 'off the beaten track'.

exceptional in every respect! our hostess could not do more to make us so welcome! the accommodation could not be faulted! the attention to our personal needs far exceeded anything we have previously experienced in other B&B's! Brilliant in every respect!

Lovely stay with friendly host. Nothing was too much trouble. Very tasty breakfast. Comfortable room and bed.

Warm welcome on arrival, a clean and cozy room – everything was perfectly in order. Breakfast was well presented, with all fresh ingredients and especially delicious bread. The lovely lady joined us for a little chat and shared some great sourdough bread tips.

Fantastic stay at Stepping Stones. Very close to Lymington and the New Forest. Very nice room and very clean. Carol and Alan were fantastic hosts and very welcoming. The breakfast was exceptional and a highlight of the day!
