USGBThe staff was exceptional. Welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and the communal area pleasant and nicely decorated.
We stayed in a building across the road from the main guesthouse. The building was a bit basic and lacking light outside at the door when returning at night, hard to find the key hole and not so pleasant. The room/flat was unfortunately lacking quite a few basic things which could easily have made the stay much nicer. There was not bed side light or plug by the bed, meaning you had to get out of bed to turn off the neon wall light before sleep and leave your phone to charge elsewhere. The air con could neither be turned up or down. No hair dryer in the bathroom which looked quite knackered with chipped tiles, dated decor etc. No fridge in the flat to cool water, and fresh drinking water wasn't supplied unless you asked which I think should just be a natural part of the service, and the view from my room was facing a particularly dirty wall 2m away. Unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations at all sadly, and for the price in India I have stayed at pretty boutique hotels that are by far nicer and better equipped.
