Presidents House B & B

This is a beautiful property and well furnished in period-correct furnishings. Delightful ambiance and large bedroom. Very welcoming feeling.

It would be an improvement to offer breakfast on site every day. On the day we stayed, we were given a $20 credit to a nearby boutique restaurant which was very nice. It would have added to our experience if we could have eaten in the dining room of the B&B.

We were highly referred here by friends! The breakfast was not as described. I ordered the breakfast burrito it was supposed to come with bacon, eggs, potatoes, and cheese, but I ONLY received eggs and cheese because I guess they ran out of bacon and potatoes.

The room was super dreadfully hot both nights! I have chronic asthma! I informed the staff the first morning that the ac wasn’t getting cool and that we had a rough first night because of the heat, she changed the ice packs and said that the next night would be better, but it was actually worse! Also NOONE showed up to fix breakfast or make coffee the next morning so there were 3 other guests waiting with us for breakfast and no one showed up or reached out to us to let us know that breakfast was canceled! Breakfast is supposed to be served at 8am. We had to contact them after 10am to ask if we were going to get breakfast and we were then informed that breakfast would be late, then 30 minutes later we received a text saying that there would be no breakfast because the staff forgot to show up.

Unique house with great common areas

Didn’t realize how easily we became accustomed to a king vs. a queen bed. Coffee maker was too complicated.

The property is beautifully situated across from a park. The interior is well furnished and maintained with the dignity the residence deserves.

I was assigned The Library room. This room is not on central cooling/heating. The staff attempted to cool the room with a portable evaporative cooler without a measurable difference.

I love Marlene she was great attentive charming and just made us feel at home!!!! Loved it and would definitely be there again.

It’s beautiful cozy and inviting very calming and spacious.

Beautiful, very clean B&B! Lovely old home, very large and roomy. Breakfast was delicious and served on an elegant table. We loved staying here!!

Everything was absolutely perfect here!
