Presidents House B & B

We have stayed several times now and it is always a pleasure. This is the best place to stay in Plainview.

The location was perfect and I can’t believe I ate all my bkfst. Was cooked fresh and remained hot as we ate. The fruit cup was a surprise. Delicious!!!

The location was average. You can hear traffic noise as the house is one block from a highway.

The room was cold when I got there. The asst manage brought a heater, which was helpful. The body wash was from Walmart/Equate. Really? HOw cheap! The conditioner was TreSemme, and the shampoo didn't even have a label. Very poor amenities from a BnB, IMO. While the eggs, sausage and toast were good, they served jelly, OJ, Ketchup, and butter in jars from the store. Not 6 feet away in the dining room was a full cabinet of crystal serving dishes.

Breakfast at Table on 10 was good, but didn't expect to leave the property to eat breakfast.

I stayed in Davis room; Nice, but not great. Small heater in the closet was dusty as was other items in room. Small chair in the corner had severe fabric stained and the seat cushion was broken, light on the desk was a three way switch, but the bulb was not a 3- way bulb. Acceptable room , but not pristine as I thought a Presidential B&B would have been.

It is an elegant house. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. What made the experience memorable was the owner. She was an unhurried lovely hostess. She makes you feel at home but is not intrusive.
