Nisaki Mathraki B&B

We loved everything about our short stay at Nisaki Mathraki B&B! The warm welcome, the food at "Al Fresco", the location of the café and the apartments, the beach, the golf carts and e-bikes, the tranquillity, peacefulness, and level of relaxation this place offers ❤️ Chris and Ksenia are the most wonderful hosts! We will be back for a longer stay next year! PS: thanks again for the amazing orange cake, Ksenia, OMG!! 🤩 Your food is the best!

Mathraki is a very small secluded island with a few tourists. We liked the privacy of the island and do hope it will stay that way. We loved our location less than 100 meters from the beach. Our hosts Chris and Ksenia are so friendly. They did everything to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. There high quality standards in hospitality and care for there guests and a sustainable environment, the very good WiFi, facilities (f.e. rent a golfcart or e-bikes to discover the island) at the B&B and all kind of (water)sports activities they offer. The breakfast/ brunch (served until 13.00!) with homemade bread and jams, eggs, Greek yoghurts and toast with smashed avocado is delicious.

We loved our stay. There were many details that made it amazing: 💫 We were welcomed at the port by Chris, who took us to our room located near the beach. 💫 The room was clean, we had water in the fridge, coffee, AC, great WiFi. 💫 We even got beach towels and had private sunbeds and umbrella on the beach. 💫 The breakfast was wonderful. I loved the homemade bread with butter and jam. It was also located in such a lovely place. 💫 We were taken to the breakfast place by golf carts everyday. The hosts are very caring and always made sure we have a great time. Thank you so much, Ksenia & Chris!

The Island is beautiful and Chris the owner tries extremely hard to please.

Description on Booking.com is not good at all. It should specify that the accommodation offered is in 3 different locations on the island…2 stand alone beachfront units and 1 unit high in the olive groves next to their cafe and you will not know until you arrive which one you will be staying. You must be a very keen hiker or otherwise rent an electric golf cart (60?euros per day) or bike to get around the island or travel to one of the 2 beachfront tavernas. Our accommodation had an amazing view and good beach with sunbeds in front but accommodation was not good. It had only just been opened up after the winter and not cleaned well, no snacks, drinks, working a/c or coffee machine as listed. Rooms simple which is fine but beds extremely hard and old mattresses.

Very clean and right on the beach! Easy to access the island via golf cart which was really beneficial

It was a paradise. Chris and Ksenia are great host and you feel like family. The perfect place to recharge and relax! also you will enjoy the private beach with almost no one around, just go there and see 🦄
