Casa MARA Tenerife

The location is amazing! Casa Mara is set on top of a steep cliff, just above of Las Cruces, offerring breathtaking views towards the rugged valley, the town of Garachico and the sea. We spent hours noticing the changes taking place in front of our eyes :the tide, the weather changes, the sky, the rainbows, the birds, the boats, the waves, an endless creation of forever changing scenery! We never missed not having a TV in the room. The beds were very comfy and the staff were very helpful offering any support or answers to our questions. You will need a car to travel around! We stayed for three wonderful weeks and we experienced the entire island from this base.

The silence of the mountain

I express our deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with the conditions of the studio where w stayed. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed a strong and unpleasant odor coming from the room, including the bed sheets and towels. The furniture was old and worn, and the kitchen equipment was in very poor condition: there were only two old and damaged aluminum pots and a frying pan that was completely scratched and unusable. The bathroom was also unacceptable. The sink was dirty, and there was no external ventilation at all. In addition, it was practically impossible to take a proper shower, as the hot water tank was extremely small. One person could barely finish a shower before the hot water ran out. Because we arrived late, around 9:00 p.m., and left early the following day, we only requested a change of towels and bed sheets the next day. This request was fulfilled; however, it was shocking to see the difference in smell and color between the original and the replacement linens, which clearly confirmed the poor hygiene standards. Despite this, the room itself was not cleaned, and there were no cleaning supplies available for us to do it ourselves. Overall, the situation was deplorable. The studio was in a precarious condition and far below any acceptable standard of comfort, cleanliness, or basic hospitality. This experience was extremely disappointing and not at all what one would reasonably expect from a paid accommodation.

Les vistes són espectaculars, l'apartament té just el que ha de tenir.

La connexió wifi era deficient. Trobava a faltar una televisió i, en ser apartament, trobava a faltar un microones per a poder completar algun àpat. Finalment, els nòrdics eren justos i el llit es desfeia amb facilitat i els peus quedaven al descobert a mitja nit.

A személyzet rendkívül barátságos és készséges, a tisztaság makulátlan, a kilátás a szobából hatalmas ablakon keresztül gyönyörű.

A konyha felszereltsége szerény, és a falak hangszigetelése is kívánni valót hagy maga után. Ár-érték arányban nagyon jó.
