Lis-Ardagh Lodge

Loved the very spacious comfortable room. Gardens were lovely, some lovely plants and great patios.

I can honestly say it was the most comfortable b&b I've ever stayed in. My family had a wonderful time in Cork and staying in Lis-Ardagh was a great choice to make. The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Every morning, Carol and James prepared a delicious breakfast from a well thought out menu, plus there was also a variety of cereals, fruits on offer to go along with it. No expense was spared on the food available. The house was very clean and the garden was well taken care of. The B&B is situated in a rural area, but only a short distance from Skibereen which itself adds to it's charm. If you want to stay local, both Union Hall and Leap are two picturesque villages worth visiting. I'd also recommend visiting Dinty's bar in Union Hall for a meal. The county of Cork covers such a vast area with many attractions, Lis-Ardagh seemed like the right place to stay being the central point. Carol and James were the most friendly and helpful hosts and Lis-Ardagh is a wonderful place to stay. I sincerely recommend staying here if you visit the county of Cork.

Carol is a really welcoming personn. The place is lovely, the garden so nice, the room really confortable. And the breakfast is delicious. Perfect stay, we regret it was so short.

Lis-Ardagh Lodge was a perfect little stopover for us at the end of our tour around Dingle,The Ring of Kerry and County Cork. Carol and Jim were so welcoming and their accommodation immaculate. A short walk from the quiet village of Union Hall where you will find a couple of good pubs to have dinner. Carol served a delicious breakfast in the morning before we set off on our journey home. Would highly recommend a stay here where there are also self catering cottages available.

Fantastic location and breakfast. Carol & Jim are great hosts, and on hand to look after anything you need. Unionhall is a lovely village with a choice of places to eat. Would recommend booking.

Lovely hosts who accepted our 10pm arrival and were very friendly in the morning. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished and the bathroom clean. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented.

Nothing it is impossible to find a fault in carol and Jim’s bed and breakfast. As good as the property was both carol and Jim were excellent hosts down to earth and good craic. Ps very helpful with everything.
