Lovely tranquil setting on edge of the village - lovely friendly hosts

Bed and breakfast great 😊

Great room with plenty of space. Sleeping area upstairs and sitting area downstairs. Plenty of food for continental breakfast (bread, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, milk, juice, jam, butter, croissants, instant coffee) plus a toaster, kettle and fridge. In addition, there were lots of sweet snacks on offer. Room was clean and warm despite size. Edina was super kind and helpful from arrival to departure, even offering honey for my throat.

Watch out for morning traffic - depending on which way you are heading traffic can be heavy around the local roads. I found it ok in the direction of Milton Park. Traffic is obviously not Edina’s fault and I haven’t marked it down but hopefully useful to others.

Spacious accommodation, beautiful location, close to Oxford, good transport links

The proximity to the utility room was a problem for me as I am sensitive to perfumes, but that probably wouldn't bother most travellers

Breakfast was fine and a good selection. Only challenge was the low table to butter the toast etc.. but thinking about it we could have used the dining room table (our bad). Lovely quiet location and nice to be out in the countryside but easy to get to pub's restaurants (M&S @ petrol station).

Just a couple or areas on walls they could have been "touched up". Just cosmetic and didn't affect our stay.

We liked the peace and quiet it was nice having a separate lounge the host was very friendly
