Noise carries from rooms being so close to each other. Flushing in other rooms can wake you easily.

When we arrived after twelve o'clock, we were informed that renovations were underway and that we had to return in two hours' time for our room to be furnished. I could smell fresh paint and decided not to return, since I expected the room to be freshly painted too. We elected not to sleep over in a freshly painted room. Fresh paint may still release toxic odours a number of days after being freshly painted. We also needed a good night's rest, since we travelled there for many hours on bad gravel roads from the South. I requested for a cancellation without penalty. The request was granted, but I never received my refund.

This is fantastic value for money. We really appreciated the fact that they let us park in their garage during our stay. The breakfast was simple but sufficient - love that it included fruit. The room are spacious and the bathroom is huge.

Our introduction to the place was less than welcoming. The door was locked, which is fine - so we ran the bell. We waited quite a while then heard a noise at the door. I was unsure if they had unlocked the door or not and couldnt see through the glass door due to the sun. We stood there unsure for a while then someone shouted to come in. Once inside the lady at the desk was nonchalant and didnt even look at me when talking to me. Other than this, during breakfast we needed to listen to staff watching videos on their phones. It also wouldn't hurt for them to smile - this is very important in the hospitality industry. Lastly how can you have check in times at a different time to when the front desk is open (on weekends) - bizarre.

Location was great and room was spacious. Staff also accommodated a later breakfast. Thank you.

There was no aircon in the room. It was cold during my stay.
