Pandora

You pay for what you get, based on medium price of Flores Island this hotel has fair price; so do not expect a 5star hotel. It is clean and essential, it works for a couple of days.

The bed in our room was comfortable but maybe a bit small. The walls are very thin so there’s noise at night, coming from the house/street.

You get more than what you pay for at Pandora. The location is prime to access the best spots on the island, it’s a 10min walk from a beautiful waterfall that you can swim in and watch the sunset. Lou is one of the most genuine, funny and interesting people you’ll ever encounter. He goes above and beyond to welcome you and make you feel at home. He also gave us tips on where to go depending on the weather. Very cozy rooms and the facilities are always clean. The only downside is having to leave🥲 We will miss you Lou! Comfortable beds, good location, tidy linen. Lou is extremely nice and helpful host. He shares his house with guests and makes his best so you can feel yourself welcomed.

The smell of air-freshener in shared areas may discomfort a bit. Personally I missed a kitchen but all in all you can do without it.

Lou is a friendly host. We really enjoyed our stay at Pandora. The area around is very nice. You can do all the great hikes from there! A beautiful waterfall where you can swim is only a few minutes away. Good value for money!

The bed is a bit small for taller people.

Amazing place and super friendly and helpful host. Helped us around the island several times. The place is clean and very cozy, has a special Portuguese atmosphere.

The location on the Island in Faja Grande was very beautiful, it was near a waterfall and on the other side the Atlantic Ocean. The village too was wonderful. We ate at the restaurant Maresia, this was really a great expierence.

About Pandora itself, the room was very smal. And there was an awful smell from the toilet system. We booked the bigger room, but got the smaller one. There is no breakfast, the host couldn't help us with answers about anything on the Island.

Lou was a great host and a great guy to be around

Lou was very helpful, kind and he made us feel like being at home. The bathroom was always clean and bed is very comfy. Besides, the location of the house is outstanding. Faja Grande is by far the best place to stay in Flores. Hope this message finds you well, Lou! Thank you !!

- It was very hot in the room, we were not able to sleep. There were 2 windows, but we could open only one. The other window next to the bed was very dirty (dust, spiders, insects), so we couldn't open it. @Lou: Please clean the window and add a mosquito net. - The bed is far too soft and too small. I am 1,75 m and even for me it is too small. - In general the rooms are very old and you can smell that
