Villa Inglese

It would be difficult to find a place in a better location. Wow. The owner Ben helped us sort out our difficulties (no cash available in town plus a train strike that messed up our onward journey). The supper was of the highest quality served with attention and good knowledge of the products served.

We would have liked to have seen a menu (and a price list)for the evening meal, so as to prepare our appetites (and pockets) for the many dishes that appeared. Being a small eater, it was a struggle to do the food justice. My husband had no such problem.

Difficile l accesso ad anziani per la presenza di scala ripida Abbiamo prenotato camera per tre adulti con letto matrimoniale e letto singolo. Il letto singolo era però in lettino pieghevole che per un adulto poco si addice e abbastanza scomodo. Manca il frigo in camera e manca anche una tv

Struttura bellissima, tipicamente stile inglese, staff molto cordiale,, disponibile e molto professionale! La stanza stupenda, molto accogliente e con una vista sulla vallata bellissima. Posto molto tranquillo, ci si rilassa assolutamente! Una nota di merito va alla cena, molto molto particolare nelle pietanze in un contesto raffinato e tranquillo!

l'unica nota negativa è la posizione geografica del paese... per me che venivo dall'Abruzzo non molto comodo da raggiungere... ma chiaramente questo dettaglio non va ad inficiare sulla struttura stessa, che resta uno dei posti piu' belli dove sono stato ospite

Very nice, comfortable B&B with an exceptional restaurant where we had a wonderful vegetarian five course set menu. The views across the countryside from our bedroom Juliet balcony were outrageous! Highly recommended.

This is a true gem of a B and B. Gaynor and Ben are wonderful hosts. This was our first trip to Picinisco and we will definitely return. The meal, made by Ben, was superb- fantastic service and a clear passion for his occupation. It was a treat to be made a meal by someone so skilled and knowledgable. Absolutely loved not having to order and to have food brought over with a detailed explanation of what it was and how it was made. Our room was light and bright with a lovely view and huge bathroom. The ambience is perfect, especially in the evenings and if you cannot stay, then at least visit for a meal. Gaynor is very kind and helped us with everything that we needed. A home from home. Thank you so much- we will be back!

Perfect location beautifully decorated with links to its history and its ethos Probably the best views in Italy and then there’s the food which was locally sourced quite easily the best I have tasted.beautifully presented and introduced by staff who were just charming ,knowledgeable and friendliest you could meet . Ben you are a genius

It was a lovely Villa type property central to the village , furnishings were really nice the bedroom and bed was very comfortable . We had a terrace with amazing views over the valley . The host Ben and his team were amazing ..We don’t consider this property a three star this deserves a higher rating . The food and service is definitely 5 star it was a wonderful experience - we loved it.

No tea or coffee machine in the room only because we are up very early 5/6.00 am and I would’ve liked my morning coffee on the balcony /terrace before heading down to breakfast on the main terrace which was fabulous.
