Route 62 B&B

I spent two nights at Route 62 Bnb. I arrived late, but the owner and receptionist made a plan to make sure that I check in properly. I appreciate the efforts done. This is centrally located.

The place could be comfortable, if you are on your own, which I thought I was till a group of 3 or 4 guests arrive at 11pm, making horrible noise chatting and rolling their luggage. The walls /doors are very thin, and the noise are passing through, that makes the place very noisy. Mixing a group of 7 people (more arrived on the second day) and a solo traveller in the same cottage (with a central lounge communicating with all the rooms) is not a good idea. The road traffic is also quite heavy and noisy if your rooms is on the front door (which was my case). Second issue was the keys. Old doors with old key holes make the process difficult. I struggled a lot to open the three doors I had to go through. Last point was the flush. The flushing system was not operating properly, and I had to open the cistern and stop the water manually to avoid water leak and waste. That was my experience.

Beautiful big room, bathroom and house, super friendly staff, and very affordable.

Beautiful old house with a lot of history. Lovely and helpful staff. Centrally located with easy access. Great value of money. Will definitely stay again.

The Wifi was pathetic. Someone must have switched off the geyser as there was luke warm water on the second night and ice cold water the next morning.
