Guest House Mitsuka

Difficile de remercier assez toute l'aide que m'a fournie Yukiko, l'hôte de ce guesthouse. Elle est absolument adorable, très à l'écoute et n'hésite pas à aller au delà de son rôle pour vous aider. Lors de mon henro, j'ai du voir d'urgence un physio pour traiter un problème de cheville. Elle ne m'a pas seulement suggéré une adresse mais a même pris rendez-vous pour moi tout en me conduisant au lieu de consultation, tout cela sans rien demander en échange bien-sûr. La guesthouse est très belle et bien organisée, la cuisine de Yukiko délicieuse, bref, je recommande à 200% cet hébergement !

今回、自転車お遍路の旅でご縁がありました。 全てにおいて、おもてなしの心を感じます。 痒いところに手が届くとは、この事でしょうね。 特に、料理が素晴らしい！ まるで、料亭？割烹？ 一切の手抜きなし！ コスパ最高です。 出発の日は、百合根の炊き込みご飯で、おにぎりまで用意いただきました。 歩きお遍路さん限定だそうです。 私は半分、歩きお遍路、半分自転車お遍路なのでラッキーでした。 私は食事の写真を撮らない主義なので、ご自身で確かめてください。

1日2組までのようですが、ロウシーズンのため運良く私だけでしたので静かで快適でした。疲れを癒すため、急遽の連泊をしました。 あくまで想像ですが、もう一組が小さなお子様連れだった場合は、建物の構造上、音の問題は少し心配になりました。

The guesthouse was beautifully decorated with the owners personal treasures. It was done up so elegantly, with beautiful ceramics around the house, scented candles, subtle strings of jazz music in the corridor. We had requested the family meal for dinner on one night and the Japanese course menu on another. The food at this guesthouse was hands down the best we had in our month long stay in Japan. The Japanese course menu was sublime. The beaches nearby were an unexpected gem. We werent expecting to find the surf culture and van life in this tiny corner of Japan. Highly recommended, it was the highlight of our tour of Japan.

The hostess was very welcoming and very helpful, this is small town japan so local knowledge was very useful. The prepared food both breakfast and dinner was exceptional, we both enjoyed the variety and quality. There was a very good local onsen in the town.

Very comfy and cosy stay! Host dinner and breakfast was superb! Huge portion and wide variety. Very homey dishes. Host was very friendly and kept checking everything is good.
