I'm cycling Italy, from New Zealand. I got into town late, hot and tired. Found this by chance, it was perfect for me, a/c cooled me down, wifi and all facilities work well. Very happy, stayed another night. The old town is crazy with history. GPS struggled to find it, be patient, if you find DOT Cafe your 200 meters away.

Location - inside the old town. Price was fair. Everything worked. Clean and tidy. Owner was friendly.

Tarquinia is a beautiful town and the location (although not easy to find) is perfect, in the middle of the old town. The room was spacious and comfortable.

We had booked a room with a balcony, and it said so in the booking confirmation. The key in the master lock opened a room without balcony. We checked in anyway as it was 3pm, 40 degrees Celsius and no one to be seen. When later on we mentioned to the proprietor - in a friendly way - that actually we'd booked a room with a balcony, he just shrugged it off and behaved arrogant and rude.

the hosts are very friendly, a quiet place, but if you are in a low car on a dirt road, you will not be able to drive up to the house

Lot of space. View out of the window was gorgeous.

'Al Castello' lies at one of the most beautiful spots of Tarquinia. Right in the heart of the medieval centre, next to the castle (nomen est omen). The view from the terrace is breathtaking. At the same time, the apartment is conveniently located if you travel by public transport. The house dates from the 14th century and has loads of character. Rooms are clean and tidy, coffee & tea are great.
