Old Daltongate House

What a wonderful find. A great place to stay with lovely hosts. The house itself is one of the oldest in Ulverston with parts dating back to Jacobean times. The house is tastefully decorated and the room we stayed in was very comfortable with a great bathroom. Everything was clean and we had a lovely breakfast. Well definitely return.

What an amazing place. Unassuming from the outside, apart from being the oldest building in Ulverston. It is wonderful and cosy, inside with modern sympathetic decoration. A warm welcome, very clear guidance for what was available and how to enter and exit. Breakfast was fantastic too. A great find, we will be back !! O

Overwhelmed by how super this place! The room was boutique, the facilities excellent, breakfast was exemplary and the filter coffee was out of this world! A definite return for me x

A wonderful mini break. Beautiful accomodation. Tasteful decor and furnishings. Mine hosts were amazing and very friendly. Breakfast tasty and well cooked with plenty to choose from. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and will visit again soon.

Fabulous! Beautiful, clean and stylish hotel right in the centre of Ulverston. Friendly hosts. Great food (including vegetarian option). Cheap parking across the road, one minute walk to centre of Ulverston but on a quiet road so nice and peaceful. So glad we found this beautiful place. Thankyou
