ITITPosto incantevole, immerso nella pace della montagna, fuori dai soliti circuiti ricettivi. I proprietari Paola e Mauro sono delle persone squisite con le quali siamo entrati subito in sintonia. Un grazie di cuore a Paola per la eccellente colazione, (già mi manca il burro di malga 😀), ma soprattutto per le validissime indicazione sugli itinerari migliori. 5 giorni splendidi...

Per me l'unica difficoltà sono stati i 100 mt in salita che occorre fare dal parcheggio alla Baita, in quanto avendo un problema alle ginocchia, ho faticato un pò, ma niente di insuperabile. Poi la vista e la quiete ripagano lo sforzo fatto.

Der Anstieg zur Unterkunft war mit dem Fahrrad steiler als gedacht, aber hat trotzdem gepasst.

GBPaola is an excellent host! We loved everything about our stay. Breakfast was great, loads of local and fresh ingredients. The place is beautiful.
PLThis was the perfect place to relax for a few days away from big cities, traffic and crowds. The hosts were super friendly, and had no issue with us not speaking much Italian - we communicated in a funny mix of English and Italian, mostly successfully :) The room was very nice, all done in natural wood in Alpine style. From our windows we had views over a magnificent mountain valley. The huge lavender bush by the house filled the air with wonderful aromas. The setting was practically idyllic. The breakfast was very good. The area has a lot of hiking possibilities in the summer - there are many trails, and they are generally well marked.
The access road was just as narrow and steep as advertised by the hosts. You cannot make the last 100m if you do not have a 4x4 car - we tried and failed in a FWD :D. The hosts can take your luggage up that steep final bit of road in their car. This is not really a complaint BTW - the hosts make it very clear in their Booking listing that access is on the difficult side.
DEWe had a very nice stay at Baita Bertolini during our road trip around Stelvio National Park. The house is lovely with wooden cottages styled room. Super clean and cozy. The road up to the B&B is quite narrow, steep and partially unpaved, but should be manageable with most cars. The view over the valley is amazing from up there. This place offers total tranquility. Breakfast was great with a selection of local food and delicious pastries. Paula and Mauro are the perfect hosts and thank you for making our stay a memorable one, Grazie! ❤️❤️❤️
