Everything was perfect! Don and Heather were such accommodating hosts and made us feel right at home. The property is in an unbeatable location and the amenities they provided were stellar. Very thankful for them and our stay!

We spent a wonderful stay in Heather & Don's place. The sea view on Whitianga beach is gorgeous and the house is very nicely decorated, all in black & white. Despite a late arrival, we were warmly welcomed and Heather and Don are not shy about offering advice on things to do in the area. The breakfast is just fabulous and very well presented

Heather and Don’s bed and breakfast was incredible! Their modern, beachside home is stunning, just steps from the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Their hospitality, helpful activity tips, and delicious food made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The B&B is a modern, beautiful space in a great location. Walk to restaurants, and the beach right across the street. The breakfast on the terrace every morning was amazing. But what really makes it special are the hosts Heather and Don. Amazing hosts and even more amazing people. Had a lovely time chatting with them. Highly recommend staying here a few nights!

Stunning modern house with fabulous views of the beach across the street. The bedroom is a very comfortable large room on the street level with a slider to a private outdoor lounge area with outdoor couches and tables. The hosts are fantastic and gave yery helpful suggestions. They only rent out one room downstairs, so it is very private and quiet, although the house is close to the road. This is one of the nicest B &B houses we have stayed in. The beach across the street is beautiful and the B&B is walking distance to restaurants and shops nearby. It is immaculately clean with an unbelievably delicious and creative breakfast.

Every aspect of our stay was very enjoyable. The hosts were very welcoming and explained every thing in a friendly way. The room was beautifully decorated and in pristine condition. Every creature comfort was supplied in the room, it was absolutely perfect in every way. Our hosts were welcoming and very friendly and our breakfast was five star!!!!

Nothing our stay was relaxing and we were spoiled. Honestly we could find not one thing we didn't like.

Elite! Deluxe! Impeccably clean, very tastefully/artistically decorated. MichelinStar-type vegetarian breakfast cooked by multi-talented hostess Heather, aided by raconteur hubby Don. Delightful, professional, attentive, hospitable hosts. Very accommodating (got up at sparrow’s to cook us breakfast for an early departure on the next leg of our journey); served on plush deck with oveanview. Exceptional amenities: 2 beautiful adjacent gardens for guests, huge comfortable stylish bedroom, ample space, fridge/drawers/cupbrds stocked with free wine, tea/coffee, snacks, (bathroom drawer offered every item imaginable from razors to very personal toiletries; every need under the sun provided for. Secure premises & parking. Water’s Edge worth every cent! Incomparable on every level. We refuse to stay anywhere else!
