The breakfast wasn’t bad, the poached egg was excellent

Very dated and grubby, with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Broken shower door. Poorly decorated and dingy: thoroughly depressing. We had booked and paid for 2 nights, but cut our losses and left after one miserable night.
