A Hidden Gem on the Island After reading the glowing online reviews, I’m pleased to say that Castellor absolutely lives up to the hype. I stayed in the Harbour Room, which offers a lovely partial view of the headland, and the room itself was spotless, comfortable, and finished to a very high standard. Even better, the shower had excellent water pressure – something that can’t always be taken for granted! As a right-leg amputee, accessibility is always a consideration for me. I found the bathroom and walk-in shower easy to navigate, making my stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with dedicated tables for each room and a great selection of quality food. Claire and her team struck the perfect balance between being attentive and welcoming without ever being intrusive. If you're looking for somewhere to stay on the island, Castellor is an absolute gem. I’ll definitely be booking again.

Beautiful location with wonderful views. The owner Claire is attentive without being intrusive. We stayed in Cove bedroom which has views over the bay, a comfortable bed, TV, two armchairs, a dressing table, wardrobe, chest of drawers, hairdryer and a well appointed bathroom with a walk in shower. Every need is catered for with tea and coffee provided and fresh milk in a mini fridge, chilled water, homemade cake, crockery and cutlery if you want to bring a snack back to eat are readily available and you can even order a packed lunch. There was a wide choice for breakfast (too much to list) but everything we ordered was delicious. We would love to visit again at some future date.

Lovely location on the outskirts of the village. Beautiful view overlooking the bay. Host was very lovely. There’s a small fridge in the bedroom with access to a larger one in the communal area. Shower was particularly good with a large shower. Parking was available and free on the property.

The deck is phenomenal. Not much is open on Wednesdays but the other nights has decent food options

Excellent check-in process and communication throughout. A lovely place with everything you could need and more. The breakfast was fantastic, and the bed was very comfortable, complemented by luxurious décor. The view from dinner room was amazing! I would definitely stay again. Claire is a very friendly and welcoming host!

A very attentive host, kind and polite. Amazing breakfasts and I highly recommend having an omelette.. clean and tidy, well presented rooms. In a really nice and peaceful place, good for going on walks or just enjoying the sea views.
