La Casa Del Sole

Everything was perfect. I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the area — the narrow streets, the neighborhood restaurant, and a kind of cheerful calmness, all surrounded by breathtaking views. Everything was exceptionally fun.

I rented an AUDI Q2 and was able to drive there although it was hard

It is in a beautiful location up in the mountains above Vico Equense. Very peaceful with an amazing view. Comfortable, clean rooms and of course, Alessandra! Alessandra made our trip. She is a wonderful person. We have never been looked after so well. At breakfast we would share our plans with her and she would send us links for restaurants, car parks, locations etc Ensuring our days went as smoothly as possible. She was really invested in us having the best time. We were there over Easter and she even bought our son an Easter egg. We also got to meet her lovely son Pietro who was home for Easter and her mother. They are a lovely family. What we loved about Vico Equense was it didn’t feel touristy. It is a busy bustling little town but not with tourists, with locals. Of course there are tourists but unlike the other main towns we visited on the Amalfi coast which felt overwhelmed with tourists. When we were out and about in Vico the cafes and shops were all full of locals and it has a really nice feel to it.

Nothing, can’t wait to visit again. Just be aware the roads are very narrow so you need a small car. We hired a fiat 500 off a local company in Vico and they delivered it to the B&B.

The location is lovely, a small town situated above the pretty resort of Vico Equense, with beautiful views. Most important, our host, Allesandra, was perfect and was very helpful, determined to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. It is a great property to base yourself whilst visiting the Amalfi coast and Pompeii. You don't need a car.

The road to the property is very narrow, not wide enough for larger cars and so we parked in the village of Massaquano which is quite safe. Alessandra took us into town by her small car every day where we could get to the buses and trains. We didn't use our car throughout the stay.

The location was beautiful! The view was exceptional! Our host Alessandra was so nice and helpful. She had great recommendations for restaurants and things to see and do! She went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. Thank you for your hospitality and your amazing espressos 😊

Alessandra is such a love! We loved the authentic Italian experience we had in this accommodation. As a host, she was always available to answer our questions and gave a lot of tipps what to do around. Even in the evening, when we were stuck in a very narrow street near La Casa Del Sole, she came where we were to help us. Breakfast was a classic Italian breakfast and we were beyond happy with it. Room and everything was perfect.

I wouldn't say that there was something we didn't like. But you have to consider the narrow roads around the location and also rent a car accordingly.

The glowing reviews about Alessandra are all true; she was a welcoming, helpful and considerate host who instantly made us feel at home. The property is characterful, beautifully clean and conveniently located above Vico Equense with its boat trips to Capri and other local towns. Thank you Alessandra for a perfect stay.

The hospitality of owners are something beyond! Would go back and definitely recommend it to others!

We enjoyed our holiday at La Casa Del Sole so much. The place was absolutely lovely with a great view of the mountains and the sea. The location is a bit remote, but the atmosphere was so relaxing and peaceful. Our host was amazing! She gave us a warm welcome and met all our needs. We appreciated her kidness. Also we enjoyed breakfast that she made for us each day. :) Thank you for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa Del Sole. Alessandra was an excellent host and her b&b has the best location with a beautiful view and away from all the crowd. That was exactly what we needed for tha last part of our trip to enjoy ourselves and the area with peace and quiet away from all the crowd. She has a beautiful property where we also could park our car inside with a automated gate. Alessandra was very helpful with all the questions we had giving us suugestions of where and how to visit the area. We had such a good time that we changed our plans and extended another night at her place. Her place really exceeded our expections. Thank you Alessandra!

Alessandra's place is just perfect — the views are beautiful, the rooms and beds are so comfortable, and you really feel like you're getting an authentic Italian experience. What makes it a wonderful stay however is Alessandra. We felt at home right away and she goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and easy. She picked us up from the centre of Vico when we arrived, and each morning drove us down the hill to the town centre, and serves up a lovely breakfast of pastries (freshly baked by her daughter!), fruits, yoghurts, bread, juices, sweet treats, and makes you fresh coffee. Alessandra also gives great recommendations — she especially knows the best restaurants (our favourites being Terramia in central Vico and Ghigetto's just 5 minutes walk from La Casa Del Sole where we got 2 starters, 3 mains and a bottle of wine for 36 Euros!). A wonderful host of a beautiful property. Thank you so much for everything ❤️
