Railway Bar Accommodation

Very friendly hosts. Room was double booked but we were offered the apartment instead.. So clean. Very comfy beds. Quality bed linen. Very quiet. Would highly recommend. EXCELLENT value for money. Central to get to Newry etc. Tayto factory. THANK YOU.

Location was good for me.

Shared bathroom, No hot water from sink taps,,when I questioned I was told to boil the kettle. That wouldn't of worked because no plug in the sink, wasn't happy 😒

It's hard to recommend anything about this place even at the low room rate. The staff were very busy as it was a Saturday but they were accommodating if not friendly about providing bike storage space. The pub is convenient for the Newry canal path.

The room was cramped with peeling wall paper. The shared bathroom had very old fittings and was not very clean. There was a nicer bathroom on the same floor which we used initially but then it was locked and unusable, which was unfortunate as then there were three rooms using the one bathroom and toilet. It was a Saturday night so some noise was understandable but there was a DJ playing directly below our window to a busy courtyard of people. We were told the music would stop at 11 but it went on til 12 and people were drinking until at least 1am. And after the clientele left, there were noisy staff clearing up. All of which felt unacceptable. Plus there was a lot of noise from the people in the room next door who were also smoking in the room and on the landing. Needless to say we wouldn't recommend and won't be staying again!
