Dar Lola Djerba

I cannot extend more THANKS to the Staff of Dar Lola Djerba - I say with my full heart that the ladies working at this hotel went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us during our stay. On my second day in Tunisia, I was struck by a particularly nasty case of food poisoning from a restaurant on the island. The Ladies working at the hotel immediately took notice of my poor condition during my return and without question brought me everything I needed and provided advice to help me recover. She even went as far as finding another English-speaking guest, who was also a pharmacist to provide advice. Despite the language barrier, these Ladies went above and beyond. You all have my sincere thanks! Therefore I highly recommend you stay at Dar Lola if visiting Djerba, you'll be well looked after no matter the circumstances!

The location was excellent. Our room (blue room) had plenty of space. The entire place was spotless. It was great to have a washing machine to do laundry and a terrace to dry clothes. The hostess was in touch and helpful.

Nothing. We liked it.

A guest house in the centre of Houmt Souk run by a family who were very friendly and helpful. As a 'maison d'hotes' it provides a clean and comfortable base (with excellent showers) from which to explore the old town. Someone was available via WhatsApp 24/7. Breakfast was very good with omelettes, yogurt, fresh fruit, fruit juice, toast and coffee. There was a roof terrace for the use of guests.

As expected, the facilities were limited because it is a maison d'hote, but the value for money was excellent.

Old style Tunisian house. Good continental breakfast omelette if you wanted it. Small number of rooms. Excellent location in centre of Houmt Souk. Shutters on windows.

Walls a bit thin but guests were respectful and were quiet.

It's located very central and it's a little pearl in Djerba. The host is very, very nice and helpful. The room was good and clean, and there is i lovely terrase. Nice breakfast, and you can order lunch and dinner which is very delicious.

It's a bit noisy from the street, but not more than I had some lovely sleeps!
