Very clean, the landlord and his girlfriend were lovely. The rooms are separate from the pub and very clean.

TBH we would have given brilliant for the rooms but my daughter had the single room and was not so impressed. The double rooms are FAB! Very good internet and a FANTASTIC breakfast. Staff were really helpful and friendly above and beyond. Good lighting in rooms.

Difficult to get a taxi in the morning to leave. Having to plan breakfast the night before was challenging and gluten free bread would be appreciated.

This was my first time at the Royal Oak .Lovely old style pub with food . The landlord was very good and obliging .Good choice of drinks and food choice was good Pub Fayre .Prices very reasonable and plenty of choice . The Chalets are very spacious good size bedroom and En-suite . This is certainly on my list of places to stay

A larger quilt than the bed size would have been very helpful and also a chair in the room would be useful to enable work to be done

Clean bed linen

There was a very noisy large boiler in a cupboard in the room which kept us awake and over shadowed the good things about the room

Great traditional pub , very friendly welcome from staff and owners, evening food was great , and a fantastic breakfast, Mark and Olivia were great hosts, I will definitely return, great place to stay , rooms were large and very quite, 10 out of 10

Lovely location in a peaceful village the pub was tradtional very few like this left sadly. Staff were very nice. Room was pleasant, bed very comfortable had a good couple of nights rest.Good parking. Room was nice and warm plently of hot water too.

Shower curtain needs replacing bit grubby along bottom edge. Bottom of bath needs a few more supports putting in underneath didnt feel particularly safe when standing having a shower. But these were the little details that are easily rectified and wouldn't put me off staying again for the price we paid.
