Domus in Castro

Soggiornare in un castello, l’accoglienza, l’attenzione al cliente.

Nulla, forse si nota che la ristrutturazione è un po’ datata.

It is in a very small, beautiful town with a very rich history. Very spacious inside. Comfortable beds. A very nice place to go for a quiet stay. Roberto was amazing. I unfortunately had to arrive late and he waited for me. Very accomodating and even showed my parents and I around the museum that was located underneath the B&B, giving us a bit of history behind the town and the objects inside (which he all found himself while renovating the house). His shop is located just a 1 minute walk away and has anything that you could ask for. He sells local beer, olive oil, truffle and more which is absolutely delicious. Definitely a place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway

The host is also the local shopkeeper and runs the little museum under the apartment. Roberto can tell you everything about the little village!

The shower was a bit wonky, could do with a bit of attention.

The highlight of this apartment is the host, Roberto. He is a very dedicated man, a local patriot for Umbria and also a well-informed man. The breakfast is included in the price and Roberto serves it in his shop which is 20 meters away. He offers local products which are excellent, tasty and high quality. The apartment is a renovated small, one bedroom flat in and old stone house with lots of authentic details. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen includes an oven, fridge. You can park your car free of charge 20 meters from the apartment. Montecchio is a tiny village on a hill, very peaceful and quiet.

Wifi is in the public spaces which is Roberto's shop (he says there will be internet connection in the apartment from May).

Quaint, quiet location inside an old castle. friendly owner. great breakfast in owners little grocery shop.

Bathroom shower has low pressure and spray goes all over in stead of straight down.
