Dunroamin Bed and Breakfast

It was close to town and had everything I needed

Commanding location, with an expansive view of the mountains. We had two units, one for the parents and one for our two almost adult girls, and each unit was spacious enough to fit all four of us. The parents' unit had a living room and a bedroom. There was a nice woodstove in the living room, with a generous supply of wood, mainly for the atmosphere, rather than for the need to heat up the room. The breakfast was great, including hot items, a variety of fruit, jams, and pastries, and a fabulous view of grazing cattle and distant mountains.

There is no bell or means to announce the guests' arrival. We did not have a phone to call, so we scheduled our arrival with the host for 5 pm. We arrived 10 minutes early, waited patiently, then honked and tried to get anybody's attention for a good while. We got in around 5:20, when the host realized that the noise and commotion at their gate was not somebody in the street, but their scheduled arrival. Once the gate opened, all turned out great, but we were worried and tired of waiting by then.

Beautiful setting with lovely views of farmland. Host and his staff helped me unhitch and rehitch my trailer. Undercover parking was appreciated. Overall a very enjoyable and convenient stopover.

Eigenlijk niks. We hadden voor 1 nachtje geboekt. Waren op doorreis en daarvoor was het perfect.

The property and facilities were excellent. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the yard was exceptional—beautifully kept with an awesome pool and plenty of seating in and around the property. The view was absolutely breathtaking and truly made our stay extra special. We also loved the beautiful views of the animals, the many fruit trees on the property, and the charming farm stall, which added to the overall experience. The rooms were well equipped, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, making our stay both relaxing and enjoyable.
