Ocean Terrace

The Hotel is in excellent location. We can see the ocean from balcony sitting on an arm chair. It was really good. Staffs were very helping. They arranged scooters for us for 2 days we stayed there. They made everything seamless for us. Tea was complementary and good. All major locations (Haddo Jetty, airport) are very close to the location. We got gem of a place for the price we paid.

Breakfast could have been better. They serve idli most of the days as breakfast. Bathroom was old and not sure if water heater was working.

Location is decent for its view. Price was reasonable.

The place has limited access and a sloping road to get there. The building has two floors and no lift. The staff acts needy as if looking for tips. There is no one at the reception in the afternoon or at night. You are supposed to call the staff, who in turn will call the owners, who happen to stay on the first floor but never bother to meet/greet guests. My wash basin leaked was leaking and fixed only after I complained - as if the staff never knew of it before. There is a small shoddy restaurant where they claim to be able to cook up a whole number of dishes. The bed is small, and extra bed is chargeable.

The staff was awesome. They went out of the way to make sure I felt safe and comfortable. The room was very clean and homely. They also helped arrange for transportation.

Location is not so far from the airport, food was too good and staff behaviour is nice also the location is calm and has beautiful sea view.
