Super Lage auf dem Lido. Ruhig und doch Zentral. Sehr netter Gastgeber. Uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Geweldig mooi opgeknapt historisch pand. Mooie grote kamer en heerlijke bedden. Fijne goedwerkende airco. Heel vriendelijke en attente gastheer die veel kan vertellen over de omgeving. Rustig gelegen en dicht bij het strand. Lido heeft ook een mooie boulevard met leuke winkels en gezellige eettentjes.

Misten een waterkoker op de kamer. De mooie schone badkamer is weliswaar prive maar wel op de gang.

De locatie is prachtig: vlak bij de mooiste stranden van Lido en op wandelafstand van de ferry naar Venetië, maar toch heel rustig. Vooral de authenticiteit van zowel het huis als de eigenaar sprak ons erg aan. De kamers zijn ruim, voorzien van airco, en brandschoon. De tuin is sfeervol en biedt veel schaduw onder wijnranken en blauwe regen. De eigenaar, kunsthistoricus van opleiding, weet ontzettend veel te vertellen over Venetië en Lido. Dankzij zijn Vlaamse roots spreekt hij niet alleen Nederlands, maar ook Italiaans en verschillende andere talen. Als gids met een eigen boot nam hij ons mee op een rondvaart die tot de mooiste stadsbezoeken behoort die we ooit hebben meegemaakt. Heel fijn voor de kinderen om de leuke verhalen te horen in het Nederlands. Een absolute aanrader!

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Contarini B&B on Lido.Everything was just perfect:from the location to the room itself.The bathroom in particular,truly charmed me with its style and comfort.The garden was a peaceful retreat and the host was incredibly kind and welcoming.It felt cozy,calm and truly cared for.Thank you for such a warm and memorable stay!

Villa Contarini is a newly renovated and refurbished Venetian Villa to the highest standards with great professionality and historical charm. The en-suite room is very nice with an extremely comfortable bed and high quality bedding. The air-conditioning is very efficient. It is a huge value that you have access to the garden. The breakfast was served there and you can enjoy al-fresco dining during the day. The Villa is 10 min. walk from the vaporetto station or 2 min, walk from the bus. It is very conveniently located. The breakfast was very generous and was beyond the usual Italian style. It included not only sweet pastries but ham, cheese, fruits, nuts, joghurt, juices, coffee and tea. Michaela and Svet are excellent hosts and their guidance on history, art and architecture in Venice islands are truly valuable and should not be missed. They did all their efforts to accommodate my request and assure that I had a pleasant stay. A great thank you to make me feel at home in Villa Contarini.

Very hospitable and very comfortable accommodation, and all of staff, so clean while we were there. Definitely I’ll be recommending it.
