La Terrazza

De eigenaar is super betrokken en heeft zeer goeie adviezen gegeven voor de korte tijd (3 dagen verblijf) van m’n dochter en mij. We hebben daardoor meer uit onze korte vakantie kunnen halen. Optimale faciliteiten: kamer, met 10 stappen uit de kamer op een panorama achtig terras, 10 stappen de andere kant op naar een mooi privé zwembad. Een zonnebed terras recht tegenover de accomodatie met trapjes naar de zee. En heel fijn: een privé parkeerplaats.

Alles was super ( en ik ben kritisch 😉)

Muy bien todo, el desayuno exquisito muy completo, la vista excepcional, muy buena ubicación para hacer base y trasladarse a otros sitios turísticos. La atención de sus dueños excelente, muy amables.

Miellyttävä perheomisteinen paikka. Ystävällinen henkilökunta, joka auttoi koko majoituksen ajan. Kommunikointi oli helppoa, vaikka yhteistä kieltä ei ollut. Auton sai ilmaiseksi parkkiin lukitun portin taakse talon sisäpihalle. Uima-allas oli mukava lisä. Rauhallinen sijainti. Ravintoloita lähellä. Kokonaisuutena erinomainen vastine majoituksen hinnalle.

Huoneiden ovet olivat melko ohuet, ääniä kuului jonkun verran huoneeseen. Herkkäunisen kannattaa varata korvatulpat. Huoneessa pieni minibaari, jonka tuotteet olivat valitettavasti melko lämpimiä.

Great location, secure and easy parking, super friendly staff and a lovely breakfast which you can adjust to your liking just ask and they’ll deliver!

The sliding doors let more noise through but honestly nothing major, you can just hear other guests leave or arrive. No big deal

We were made to feel very welcome. Federico his mother & brothers were such friendly people. Federico went above & beyond to sort out transport to and from the airport and local train station. Also times & location for the local bus. Breakfast was nice & they happily accommodated any additional requests. Just ask. The open terrace was wonderful to use as and when you wanted with amazing views. Our rooms had air conditioning which was greatly appreciated. The B&B was situated half way between the towns of Aci Castello & Aci Trezza. Each about 10 to 15 minutes walk away depending of how fast a walker you are. Both towns offer a traditional way of life with well priced food & drink. We sometimes used the small cafe at Lido La Giunca right opposite the B&B for a snack & drink as this was the nearest place to go to. All in all we had what we would describe as a wonderful 'traditional' stay.

I wouldn't say we disliked anything, but there was no bar. This seems to be disused so maybe it should be taken out of the description. There were also many stairs up to the accommodation. So if you had mobility issues this could be a problem. You do have to wear a swimming cap. We still aren't sure why it was needed. Also men must keep a t-shirt on in the accommodation while on the terrace & walking from the room to the pool. Being a family home we just accepted you respect the family's requests.

Unable to us swimming pool on arrival due to it still being cleaned 2pm
