Very friendly and welcoming which is perfect for someone travelling alone. Ideal location for my visit.

I would've preferred an ensuite bathroom, but i did still have my own just down the corridor.

Friendly and good staff

Breakfast was very good. Delicious and good value for money. Staff were very helpful and the room was clean. It was good to have off-road parking. I thought it was value for money.

Furniture was a bit tired and mismatched (and one unit chipped quite badly). And my room was over a very noisy (vibrant) pub garden until quite late. Fortunately I was tired and managed to fall asleep despite this. But as I said above, it was clean and good value for money.

A proper old inn including wonky floors and doors. Spotlessly clean, great food and atmosphere in the bar and smashing breakfast. Very comfortable bed and powerful shower. Private parking behind the pub takes a bit of finding but secure behind gates.

I've even asked my wife this question and there's still nothing that wasn't liked.
