Quiet and comfortable location. We had an apartment that was equipped with everything for a short stay. Very nice host.

If you go there for skiing, you need to travel to Winterberg (7 km) for the slopes

Location, scenic view, cozy, pet friendly

The kitchen utensils and cooking pots and pans need upgrading. Only one pot had a lid, there was no cheese grater and no vegetable peeler. The host, although very friendly and gracious, spoke no English or Dutch and was very busy tending to his cows and other Farming activities, so I would then expect at least an information booklet in the the room, explaining topics like how the dishwasher works, where to leave the rubbish, whether to separate recyclables or not and other pertinent and important information. The bed was comfortable but the pillow was as soft as a towel. Another annoyance was being woken up by loud noises early (3 am - 4 am) in the morning from either the farmer leaving or other guests. On checking out, I was surprised by having to pay an additional fee for the family pet we brought with and additional city taxes , over and above what was as advertised to us on Booking.com. As we did not expect this amount, we had to leave and drive to a Cash machine to draw money and drive back. Very annoying.

It is a nice typical German house. The rooms are clean, cozy and well maintained. Although the host could not speak a lot of English, the communication worked well and he is super kind.

The location is a bit further from city center, so in our case we used a lot the car.

The host is really friendly and took care of us all the time. The breakfast is perfect and I love it.

Nothing to dislike, it's the perfect place for everyone.

The owner was delightful and the room was charming. Lots of space, particularly with all that comes with snow activities. Truly enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again!
