Unbeatable location close to the ferry, great view of the harbour.

Location was great. Due to off season there was no breakfast, but I got a voucher with choice from 2 places nearby. Room was very clean.

Room a little bit noisy, refrigerator had to be turned off at night. Also no one present at checkout to leave my bad for the day, even though that was discussed earlier.

Breakfast " not really" included. In reality a voucher for a street stall on a busy intersection, with no seating and no coffee. Voucher not enough to cover food and drink. No room tidying, towel change or bin emptying. Noisy despite " sound-proofing"

Great location next to the ferry! Convenient for travelers not planning to rent a motorbike - walking distance to the majority of shops and restaurants.

There seemed to be an ant and cockroach problem in the room I stayed in. I had to kill a cockroach and throw away a bag of cookies because of an ants infestation.

Awesome view, awesome staff who are friendly and flexible, and very nice rooms. The shower in our room was very spacious which was a nice change of pace after experiencing some pretty cramped washrooms in taiwan. Had some free drinks available in the fridge and some snacks downstairs.

Short check-in window of 3pm-4pm although the staff is flexible and will pop by to check you in if you can't arrive during that time. It was very difficult as a foreigner to make prepayment - this hotel requires a 50% deposit. I had to get a friend in Taiwan to send money. I assumed using Booking.com would allow me to pay via credit card but no, I had to pay the hotel directly. If I had just booked through Marbordo's website I could have saved about $50 a night. Felt pretty gouged.

Paying the deposit via bank transfer was quite troublesome for me.

We had an amazing time on the island. Marbordo B&B has the best hosts. H was extremely helpful!! She helped me with all sorts of questions and plan our days around the island! You can book your activities directly from them. Would definitely recommend this awesome place!
