Jessies Guest House Seychelles

We spent 8 nights with my best friend in Jessies Guest House Seychelles, Beau Vallon. I have to say that Jesse is a real fairy and all the staff was very friendly and helpful! We felt like at home, just with an environment of a tropical paradise with amazing flora and colorful songbirds and geckos. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, with 2 spacious bedrooms, very good AC and a nice bathroom. The view was exceptional to the garden and nearby hills. The breakfast always included fresh tropical fruits and croissants or super homemade pastry. The place is also very close to the bus stop to Victoria and surrounded with several good shops and street food bistros. The ocean shore is a few minutes away on foot, with one of the best beaches with fine white sand and ubelievable color water 😃. We are dreaming of coming back and going home at all 😊... room did not have AC nor ceiling fan, the room will get really hot, the staff will leave all windows open to get a little of air but that meant to have mosquitoes at night so be prepared to be eaten (no mosquito nets). I had issues to find the location, I wasn’t able to reach anyone to get help, I had to find it myself. My first night I went for dinner when I came back at around 10 pm I found all doors and parking gate locked. Person working there wasn’t friendly nor helpful the first day. Note they don’t take credit cards either. Overall this is not a good place to stay, there are better guesthouses on the southern part of the island.

Jessie’s guest house was the ideal accommodation for my week long stay in Mahé. Jessie and her family are very welcoming. Jessie organised airport and ferry transfers for me, a boat excursion and renting a car. I was very grateful for her hospitality along with the lovely breakfast every morning. My room was very clean, comfortable and had plenty of space. The beach is a 10 minute walk and had lots of food options. Multiple supermarkets and ATMs are 5 minutes from the property.

Very friendly atmosphere, I felt myself like I’m at home. We spent 10 days together with my child and were happy with the guesthouse. Thank you for our vacation. There is a space outdoors to relax or to read book so no need to spend time only in the room. Very good breakfast. Hosts are helpful and try to solve all asks. Near there are several supermarkets. We had conditioning in the room. In the guesthouse territory there is a parking space. I recommend to take taxi from the airport from the guesthouse recommendation not to worry about anything.

There was a slightly musky room smell (due to the heat and high humidity I’m presuming), otherwise if you air it out it clears.
