The Old Rectory

The bed was very comfy and the choice of toiletries excellent.

It was assumed that if we wanted a cooked breakfast we would not want cereal. There was no choice of cereal for those who wanted a continental breakfast,

We had a lovely stay at The Old Rectory. It was absolutely perfect. Ideal location.

We stayed in the Garden Room which was beautiful

Everything was superb, however, the breakfast was a little disappointing - not much choice offered

Breakfast was unusual and delicious. In other B & Bs we've stayed in there has been a selection of cereals to choose from, but not here. Instead we were brought a delicious bowl of fresh fruit with yogurt and a little granola on top. My husband then had some cooked food from the usual English breakfast offerings and I just had toast.

There was only one thing tht we felt needed improvement. There was no grab rail by the bath so it felt a little precarious in the shower and we would have been happier with something to hold onto.

Owner very friendly.

Milk could have been provided on the table at breakfast.

We've been before and as usual the room was lovely in a beautiful property.Breakfast was good and tea and coffee was available throughout the day for self service in the breakfast room.

The owners were friendly we had a nice chat. Although the member of staff was fine could have been more enthusiastic.

Lovely clean room. The room was large and the bathroom was fantastic. Breakfast was served with a smile.

The whole environment, although immaculate felt lacking in atmosphere. And NO tea making facilities in bedroom! Had to order breakfast the night before.
