Location good. Manager was great.

Very old, not maintained, and nasty. Place smelled like bleach so I believe they cleaned but not painted in centuries, cracked tiles, cracked glass, old mismatched towel - 1 for each of us. We were only there 1 night or we would have moved. I wore my sandals in the shower it was so creepy. And was afraid to sit anything on the rusty bathroom counter.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Dar Lbakal in Chefchaouen. The hotel is in a wonderful location near the highest part of the old town. It is a beautiful area, with very beautiful views of the town and mountain from the roof top terrace. The staff was very friendly and kind to our family. The hotel itself is well maintained and very clean.
