Dar Echchaouen Maison d'Hôtes & Riad

This property took us in last minute and were so accommodating. As soon as you enter the gate, you feel like you’ve stepped into tranquility. They have a lovely array of plants and wild birds and butterflies flitting around. Our suit was absolutely gorgeous, overlooking the mountains and the town below. I actually want to know what pillows they use as they were so comfortable, something that’s kind of rare here. We also ate at the restaurant. The menu was varied and delicious and the serving staff were so friendly. The price is on the expensive side compared to average riads, but the quality is above average.

El camino para llegar al hotel estaba cerrado, estuvimos llamando al hotel en repetidas ocasiones sin ningun exito. La persona de recepción no mostro ningun tipo de colaboracion ni le importo en absoluto las necesidades. La ducha tenia muy poca agua . Cenamos en el hotel, pero la comida fue bastante decepcionante al igual que el desayuno, No correponde el precio a lo que recibes.

A causa di una frana la strada era interrotta e non c'erano indicazioni adeguate per arrivare. Abbiamo perso almeno un'ora per trovare la strada

No me gustó que el acceso al Hotel tenía un problema porque se había caído una calle y llamamos al Hotel como 20 veces y nadie nos cogió el teléfono. Además, nadie estaba pendiente en el punto de acceso para cogernos las maletas y ayudarnos a llegar al Hotel. Entonces la llegada fue desastrosa.

Room was lovely and well equipped with an incredible shower. Lovely pool and garden. Excellent breakfast. Most staff were lovely.

The only road to the Riad is closed. Arriving by car is currently an absolute nightmare. Quite a bit of noise outside at night (dogs and young men on motorbikes). Clearly a Riad on American tour party itinerary. Great if you like that kind of thing

The structure and design of the hotel is very nice. Location is very good.

Отель находится на возвышенности, к нему ведет дорога, которая сейчас закрыта, из-за прошедших дождей размыло дорогу. Такси везет только до общественной парковки, от туда персонал отеля уже проводит пешком по лестницам вверх до отеля. Чемоданы помогли донести. Локация красивая, территория отеля оформлена очень красиво.

Завтраки не соизмеримы с ценой отеля. Я даже не ожидала такого «подвоха». Все очень скромно, омлет могут приготовить отдельно по заказ, на шведском столе только куча булок, хлебных изделий, йогурт, фрукты. Нет зелени, салатов. Мы просили помидор, огурец хотч бы.

Absolutely beautiful Riad! Every detail was just perfect. Within walking distance to everything!

They wouldn’t serve any alcohol, beer or wine to any tourists during the month of Ramadan ….. which is understandable but not good for tourists.

Awesome location high up in the village. Friendly staff. I had one of their spacious suites with a balcony. Large bathroom. Restaurant was also good
