Property Notes

Please note that pet dogs can only be brought to our two rooms with separate entrances. These are A) 'Double or Twin Room with View' and B) 'Deluxe Double or Twin Room with Garden View'. A one time fee of €20.00 per dog every three days period or part thereof applies. Access is restricted to the great outdoors and your accommodations. On the grounds of Andresna House, dogs must be kept on the lead at all time. It is also required to clean up after your dog. To respect our guests who do not travel with pets, dogs are not allowed in the common rooms or dining room. Some dogs do get lonely and upset in new surroundings so we ask that they are not left unattended in your room during the day. Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the rooms as well as for arising repair costs caused by pet dogs.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

Andresna house was absolutely stunning. Such a beautiful home in a gorgeous location. Andy was a super host and thought of everything. Including being very attentive to me being Coeliac and making the most gorgeous breakfast for us before we left.

This is one of the most beautiful places you can stay. The house is incredible - the rooms are gorgeous and the artwork on the walls so interesting. The direct view to the private lakeshore is exceptional. Andy, the host, was so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable.

It is not a negative, but the only consideration is that it is a bit out of the way and it is a 15min drive to get dinner. Andy provided lots of local recommendations which was great and the restaurant we went to was excellent.

The pictures in the listing don’t do the property justice. Absolutely stunning!

Nothing. It was an amazing experience. If I had to pick something it would be to have the sign at the entrance updated so it’s easier to see-identify and maybe a sign at the top of the drive to point you into the b&b so you don’t accidentally take the entrance to the living quarters. But that’s very much nit-picking

"Hidden gem!"

Andresna House is a hidden gem. Andy is a very welcoming host. The property is very well-managed and crystal clean. The bed was comfy, breakfast fresh and superb. There are 2 rooms that are dog friendly. We wish we stayed longer.

"Quiet place, lovely views but find out in advance if you are staying in the annexe"

Location

Inflexibility around check in and check out times- the price for staying for much less than 24 hours is not proportionate Our room was in an annexe that had no tea and coffee making facilities- we had to walk down a lane to get to the main house to make a cup of tea and bring back to the room Strange that there was only one pillow each- we asked for 2 more which were provided No mirror in the main room- just one over the sink Nowhere to hang any clothes/ we were going to a wedding and so had to hang our dresses in the car I felt it was awkward asking for an ironing board
