Desayuno escaso, si bien era temporada baja, con mas huespedes es buffet.

Холодный пол. Окна продуваются. Нужно держать включенным кондиционер а это шумно. Летом думаю такой минус не актуально.

Very helpful owner, gave tips for visiting Petra. Hotel has a lift and supermarket attached. Owner came to rescue when encountered a problem with my hire car.

Very good location, 5min walk to the entry to Petra. Nice view from balcony. Grocery shop nearby. Lovely host, he explained everything to us and gave us good advices. We can highly recommend and hopefully to stay here in the future. Thank you

We had a nice stay at Esperanza. It was clean, comfortable, affordable, and close to the entrance (and free shuttles) of Petra. We easily walked from the JETT bus drop-off (next to the Petra entrance) and saved paying for a taxi each time (or walking a long way to another hotel). The breakfast was decent and convenient (I liked the hot omelette made when we arrived), and the dining area has a great view over the Petra mountains (as did our room). Raed is a kind and flexible host. He stored our bags on the day we checked out, no problem. I recommend accepting his offer for a “briefing” on how to tackle Petra for the time that you have (we had a 3-day ticket). He helped us understand the free shuttles and what amount of tips the horse rides would expect. He pointed us to the free overlook of the Treasury and saved us 20 JOD, plus we had a nice hike up and a great view over other areas of Petra. He operates a convenient mini-market next door which was helpful for less-expensive water and snacks than inside Petra. This is a well-run independent locally-run hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Not much of concern. The curtains let some light through in the morning, so an eye-mask was useful. Breakfast would be better with some fresh bread and more fresh vegetables and same fruit.
