Argyll House Bed and Breakfast

A lovely clean, fresh, spacious bed and breakfast. Run by a lovely friendly couple located in a bustling village with two great pubs. Breakfast was delicious, cooked to perfection and piping hot. Couldn’t have asked for more. Perfect.

Everything was great.

Breakfasts were excellent. The owners did everything asked of them. The bedroom was comfortable and clean although we would have liked a wardrobe . The bathroom with claw foot bath and shower over was clean and spacious.

Unfortunately there is no parking at the property but there is ample on street parking nearby. There was no wardrobe in our room but the wall rack was supplied with coat hangers.

Excellent location for visiting the coast and nearby nature reserves. Lovely picturesque village. The bedroom was light and airy with an extremely comfortable bed and cooling cotton sheets. We have a great choice for breakfast with plentiful portions and very well-cooked and presented servings. Friendly, welcoming hosts. We had a lovely time and will return.

Excellent breakfast; spotlessly clean and newly refurbished rooms; attentive, pleasant hosts. Comfortable beds. Quiet location within walking distance of eateries.

Westlington is an ideal spot for exploring this part of Suffolk. There is a good pub serving excellent food close by and the B&B is close to RSPB Minsmere, wonderful heathland and the Suffolk coast. Oliver and Kate are excellent hosts who go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and have everything you need. There is a choice of freshly cooked breakfasts, all of which are excellent.

Breakfast was excellent and very filling with options to suit most tastes, including vegetarian. Room was spacious and very clean. The bed was the most comfortable we have had anywhere, better than our own, but we couldn’t get it in the car! The owners, Oliver and Kate, were very kind and helpful and went out of their way to make sure their guests had everything they needed. Argyll House is ideally placed for walking and cycling and especially if you are interested in birds and other wildlife with Minsmere, Dunwich Heath and other sites within easy reach.

There was nothing we didn’t like.
