The garden is absolutely stunning, it feels like you are staring in a forest. Such beautiful scenery to wake up to!

The clear roof panels in the room were an interesting feature, but unfortunately they were very dirty, which took away from the experience.

The property was extremely disappointing. There was literal chewing gum stuck underneath the bedside tables, the shower was mouldy and one of the taps was broken. The TV remote was missing and the TV screen was damaged. A dog entered our room and almost attacked our dog, inside our room. The wooden floors felt super unstable and creaked excessively, giving the impression they might give way. The room, fridge, cutlery, crockery etc. were dirty, the beds appeared hastily made and the chairs were stained and unhygienic. Overall, the property was poorly maintained, unclean and did not meet acceptable standards.

I would like to sincerely thank Vanessa and the owners for their warm hospitality and for going above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that great attention had been given to every detail. My room was spotless, beautifully prepared, and extremely comfortable. It was fully equipped with thoughtful amenities including a microwave, kettle, cutlery, and plates — perfect for both short and extended stays. One of the small touches that immediately made me feel at home was the lovely coffee station, complete with coffee, tea, sugar, and milk already provided upon arrival. The guesthouse itself creates a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The large swimming pool and spacious lapa area are surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens that provide a real sense of calm, privacy, and escape from busy everyday life. The environment is quiet, relaxing, and ideal for anyone looking to unwind. What stood out to me most was the feeling of safety and comfort throughout my stay. The property is secure, peaceful, and so welcoming that I genuinely felt completely at ease — something very important when choosing accommodation. In fact, I even realized at one point that I had forgotten to lock my bedroom door, which says a lot about how safe and comfortable I felt there. Other things worth mentioning are the cleanliness, excellent maintenance of the property, attention to detail, and the genuine friendliness of the staff and hosts. Reliable hospitality, comfort, tranquility, and security are all things travelers look for when booking accommodation, and this guesthouse delivers on all of them beautifully. I would highly recommend The Little Hideaway Guesthouse to anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, secure, and welcoming place to stay. Whether you are traveling for business or simply looking for a relaxing getaway, this guesthouse truly feels like a home away from home. I will definitely return in the future.

Absolutely nothing .

It was filthy dirty, the room was literally a glass box so extremely warm. The pool was filthy. All the surrounding areas were very poorly maintained. Most chaos etc in the garden area were broken. It was just a miserable neglected place. Would not recommend this place. They also seemed to have people come in to use the facilities for a few hours, so as a result the pool was filthy.
