The Old Hop Kiln Barn

Marjorie was a very friendly and accommodating host, nothing was too much trouble for her. The breakfasts were excellent. The standard of the accommodation was of excellent quality.

Cannot think of anything we didn't like.

There was lots of choice for breakfast and our requests were well met.

I should have chosen the softer of the pillows offered! Some might find the proximity of the road off-putting.

Wow - what can we say - gorgeous location, so beautiful and so clean. Extremely comfortable and all done with a sustainable angle to it. Most importantly though Marjorie is simply the perfect host - friendly, genuine, welcomed us with a lovely cup of tea and some shortbread, made a fantastic breakfast in the morning. The place and the location are fantastic but our host made it the fantastic experience - we will be back!!

We had a fabulous two-night stay at the Old Hop Kiln Barn. Marjorie is the most wonderful host and had the perfect mix of being welcoming and friendly but not intrusive. Breakfast was delicious and a range of food to choose from. The room is airy and clean and the garden area lovely and relaxing.

This was the highlight of our trip from an accommodation perspective and clearly the best nights stay. The property is immaculate with guests staying in a separate building from the host. A huge comfy bed and the place was spotless. Excellent facilities within a beautiful setting. A great pub is located less than a mile away. The breakfast was fantastic with a full choice of hot and cold breakfast served at our choice of time. What turned this from a nice experience into a brilliant one was the host Majorie. She is super efficient and organised with great communications throughout from booking to arrival, but she is also a super kind person. It is our pleasure to leave a review of this charming and unique establishment, set in a excellent position for exploring the local area. On arrival we were offered a very welcome cup of tea whilst we settled into our accommodation. I must mention the lovely host who was friendly, professional and courteous. Everything in the accommodation was high quality and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was outstanding with again quality ingredients. I can honestly say I can highly recommend this b&b, you will not be disappointed.
