"A hidden gem"

A lovely hotel room with lots of space and period character. The staff were very friendly and food was lovely ( both tea and Dorset apple cake and breakfast). Thoroughly enjoyed my stay

"Horrednous experience."

The door was locked when I arrived, with a scrawled notice saying to phone a number to speak to 'Debs'. I did so and she said the booking was cancelled and I had been told. I HAD NOT BEEN TOLD! So I had nowhere to lay my head that night and in the end had to drive home - in the dark, arrived home very very very tired (having driven from Bodmin in Cornwall).

Everything and nothing - I couldn't get in.

"Really good value and great host, good for a night or two, right in the centre. Very convenient."

What a lovely little gem of a place to stay. Fantastic find. Exceeded all expectations. Accommodation was superb. Everyone so friendly and food in cafe was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was very good served in the tea room by the property owner. It was very enjoyable and well served. Our room was very clean and tidy. A large room, with a lounge area, bedroom with a four poster bed, en suite bathroom and toilet. We would defiantly stay here again.
