Facilities can be better

The hotel and room is beautiful and the people are super super friendly and helpful! Great location also and our room Downstairs was very quiet. We could do our yoga practise upstairs in the lounge area.

The best thing about La Cedille is its location. Perfectly placed with the beach and the good food spots, just a small walk away. You step out and the lovely, quite road greets you and walk either side of it and you have some of the favorite restaurants and cafes, right there. Came with my mother here, to celebrate her birthday weekend and loved everything about the stay, except for zero ventilation - for the room as well as the bathroom. She complained about it the whole time. Now coming to the stay itself, the space, as soon as you enter feels cozy and personal. The staff are really attentive and available whenever you need them. Its a beautiful space inside as you walk towards your room and you can be at peace just sitting around, sipping your coffee and reading book. Feels very private in there. The door opens to a beautiful room, probably just right for spending a cozy night. The high ceiling and the lighting inside feel so good as well.

The one problem, however, we faced was that the restroom/toilet/bathroom, although spacious and lovely, has absolutely no ventilation at all. Even the placement of a small exhaust fan does not help. If someone uses the toilet, one has to live with the odor as there is no way it can escape out of the toilet/bathroom and eventually your room smells. We had to request for a room freshener which eventually helped for a bit after multiple sprays. La Cedille needs to look into this as this totally worked against the pleasant experience we were otherwise having. Ventilation is a basic need of any room and bathroom. Please look into this.

Hotel hyper bien situé, jolie décoration très propre. Plutôt privilégier les chambres du haut. Nous n’avons pas eu de problème de bruit. Le personnel a été adorable pour nous aider à trouver un chauffeur et nous a donné de très bons conseils.

Le café au petit déjeuner. Nous aimons bien un petit café italien, il n’y avait pas ça ici, mais sinon tout était très bien.

Loved everything about the place.. it was just perfect and serene! They let us store luggage with them before and after our stay which helped us a lot! Their homemade jams were a treat and their complimentary breakfast was so damn tasty! It was as if it was made right at home!

The only thing was that there was a constant smell in the washrooms, probably coming from the drains.. but other than that, no complaints!
