Lowthwaite B&B

The location was perfect for a stop-off between Scotland and London: a short drive from the motorway, yet with a superb circular walk with spectacular views from the doorstep. Loved the feather duvets and pillows. Most delicious B & B breakfast I've ever had (particularly as a vegetarian) and wonderfully helpful hosts.

Wonderful hosts, gorgeous food, lovely room. It was such a gorgeous stay, just over the hill from Ullswater and an easy drive to the main road. I had a private garden with my room, full of birds and a red squirrel.

Wi-Fi can be patchy but I didn’t come to the lakes to sit and stare at my computer!

Breakfast was great, delicious, home-made, and so many options! Host was very knowledgeable about the area and very happy to give recommendations. Would definitely stay again.

Jim è una persona molto accogliente, con tanti buoni consigli per parti conoscere il.meglio del Lake District. Camera estremamente confortevole, con affaccio su un incantevole giardino; al mattino il risveglio è rallegrato dal cinguettio degli uccelli. Una colazione sontuosa con piatti preparati al momento da Tine, colazione tipica inglese, omelette, pancake, waffle...e poi yogurt, frutta, marmellate con pane fatto in casa. Se tornerò al Lake District soggiornerò sicuramente da Jim e Tine. Grazie ancora per la vostra meravigliosa accoglienza 😀

Assolutamente niente

The hosts were so kind and warming, the room was beautiful and clean. Then to top it all off the breakfast was yummy, the hosts advices us so well on a few places to visit which we loved. The best night away !
