Simple House Ao Nang - B&B

We loved staying here, the view was beautiful and the staff were so so lovely. So nice and homely.

The beds were a little bit hard but we got used to it :)

Lovely peaceful location and still has all restaurants and shops a 5 - 10 minute walk away, cute little garden around the back of the hotel perfect for an afternoon nap in a hammock. Very friendly and welcoming staff, clean and comfortable bed and very big room. Great little breakfast station too with amazing banana muffins. Will come back again

This charming family run B&B is excellent! The rooms are spacious and have rooms an ensuite bathrooms. The breakfast is just right yummy and healthy. They have a charming garden and a common area. The location is perfect, close enough to main street and yet quiet and surrounded by nature. The bedding is excellent if you like a hard bed. Recycling is a must, so nice ti see they are engaged with the environment. Sometimes Simple is just perfect!

Amazing stay at Simple House. The family working here are so so kind and friendly, as well as their beautiful animals. The room was spacious and comfortable. Amazing scenery, great location, just a few minutes walk from Main Street, restaurants and new Blue Mountain market! Thank you 😊

Exactly what I needed. I quiet, clean, spacious place with lovely owners who looked well after me. Far away enough from the busy main road but close enough to walk to the beach.

This guest house felt like home, an this was the exact reason why I booked this place. P' Gan (daughter) and P'Jin (mother) runs this family business along with several other staff. This doesn't mean I expected little of the accommodation, facilities, and service - they were marvelous. Sure, it's not 4-5 star, modern facilities - but in no way the lack-thereof was an inconvenience. Service was spot on - quick change of towels, room cleaning, with a small 60 (S) or 100 (L) Baht they do your laundry (clean, hang to dry, and if you are not back still, they put the dried clothes in your room). Staff were soooo helpful - calling and confirming activities for you. They take initiative to help and don't wait around for you to anxiously wander and hope to get noticed. Rooms were very spacious, bed sheets smooth and pillows comfortable - also not to mention a killer view. The location is further north of the main street by the beach. It's far enough to get away from the noise and swarm of people, but close enough to all the prime locations. I really enjoyed the quiet at Simple House. They also have two adorable cats and one rescued Thai squirrel that stops by every now and then.

1) Door lock can improve - You cannot shut the door without locking it; 2) Showerhead - it seemed old so water didn't come out all that well; 3) More instructions on how to use the boiler; 4) More info in the room - check in - check out time; 5) Another layer of curtain would be very nice - having a thin, white veil behind the dark curtain would help sun light to enter without exposing your entire room to the streets

Clean and nice place. Good location. 25 minutes walking from Ao Nang beach, which u can grab the long tail boats.

Everything was good. Just wish I had a thin blanket too. It only had a thick one which warmed me too much.

The location

There is no hand towel in the room. The breakfast is not enough just fruits,jars and bread.bring your insect cream mosquitos are everywhere we did not sleep

The room was large, clean and very well equipped with a great bathroom. There was a simple but lovely breakfast included which was great. The best thing about Simple House however is the staff who could not have done more for us. So helpful and very kind! Deffinetly recommend.

Nothing really! Around 20 mins walk to the beach, but everything else you could need is very nearby.
