The rooms were to a really high standard, especially the bathroom. The pub next door served some of the best pub food you will find. Breakfast was good too. The location was handy for local shops and Carrickfergus castle.

Unfortunately the boiler broke the night we were there so we had a cold shower.

Great Modern Hotel - We stayed in the Sapphire Room which was on the top floor, so we had great views. We stayed one night and ate in the Restaurant/Pub next door, which is owned and is part of Walters Rooms called Ownies Bar. The decor from entering the building to the room is First Class, even down to the designer cushions. Great detail has gone into this property. Breakfast was a lovely Ulster breakfast. Would not hesitate to book again

Walters Place liegt direkt am Wasser. Fussläufig zum Ort, dem Castle und dem Hafen. In dem angeschlossen Pub kann man abends gut essen. Das Zimmer war großzügig, das Bett sehr bequem und das Bad modern und auch großzügig. Alles sehr sauber.
