Dwynant - A Room with a View

The sweetest host ever. The room is clean and tidy and has all the amenities needed. The views are stunning. Especially the sunset was amazing. The host makes sure you feel welcome and at home. 10/10

Zeer hartelijke ontvangst met thee en eigengemaakte cake. Keurig verzorgd continentaal ontbijt. Super rustige omgeving en een prachtige tuin.

We received a lovely warm welcome with tea and homemade cake which was most welcomed after a long journey. The attic room would not necessarily suit a very tall person but it was cleverly laid out and contained everything we needed.

Nothing was disliked.

Sian was very friendly and welcomed myself and my friend for a two night stay. We were visiting the area to help in a local animal sanctuary. The room is beautifully decorated and the views of the garden and surrounding areas are hugely therapeutic. Engaging in manual labour at the animal sanctuary was wholly grounding. Local cafes and restaurants served delicious food and staff were exceptionally hospitable.

Our host, Sian, was the most helpful person you could meet, and cooked the most superb welsh lamb, looking after us with great care. It was a pity to leave, but she told us the most delightful route.

The rain on our last day.

This is a lovely house set in lovely countryside with wonderful views over the Welsh countryside from the terrace and the kitchen / breakfast room. Our hostess couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. She cooked us a beautiful evening meal on the second night of our stay which meant I didn't have to drive and could have a drink with our meal. We also opted for the cooked breakfast on our second morning which was very nice.

The accommodation is in a loft room with its own access. This is well furnished but it would not suit anyone with mobility problems as access is via a steep outside staircase and the ceiling height is very low. Even my wife, who is petite, found she was regularly banging her head. There is no view from the bedroom and guests don't have access to a separate lounge with views over the garden and countryside. This probably wouldn't bother everyone, particularly those only staying for one night. The two single beds are tucked under the eaves. While comfortable, this isn't conducive to a romantic break with your partner.

Wonderful hostess, nothing too much trouble. Very kind and friendly. The gardens were superb as was the view. Clean and comfortable. Good continental breakfast. Really quite and relaxing
