Kate’s place had such charm and coziness, it’s like stepping into your family’s home. I liked the location and the friendliness of guest and staff alike.

Nothing, I couldn’t complain.

Kate is a wonderful host. Personable, kind and a terrific cook. She is a wealth of knowledge about local history and lore. Breakfast was outstanding. Wonderful options and lovely presentation.

The home is a rush of welcoming colors and inviting decor. Candy for the eyes. Kate is a hostess to her core. I'd return in an instant if I could. She introduced us to Alaskan neighborliness, as she helped us address our flat tire, fed us a fabulous breakfast, and sent us on our way to an excellent repair shop. You all will be missing a lovely lady if you pass this by.

We tried to make a return stay, but she was completely booked. The word is out!

“Quirky” B&B with extremely welcoming and friendly hostess/owner… retired artist. Home is a kaleidoscope of color, paintings, and curious objects Breakfast will take you to a late dinner

ONLY issue some might have is the shared bathroom….but only 3 comfortable rooms….BUT it’s a B&B

The breakfast here was truly unforgettable — warm, romantic, and beautifully presented with a touch of ceremony. Every detail felt carefully curated, from the elegant table setting to the thoughtfully prepared dishes. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience that made us feel cherished and at home. A perfect start to each day!
