Kerryanna Country House Bed and Breakfast

Very welcoming hosts, extremely comfortable beds and great breakfast! The house has big rooms and wide windows, which we appreciated very much. Definitely recommended.

Por poner alguna pega: las cortinas no impedían que a las 5 de la mañana entrara un sol increíble. Un despertador demasiado madrugador para los que nos molesta la luz. La habitación amplia y cómoda. El baño quizá un poco justo.

Wer hier nicht seine Zelte für ein paar Tage aufschlägt, ist selber schuld! Sehr schönes Haus, wunderbare Hosts, tolles Frühstück, schöne Lage, alles perfekt, so, wie man sich ein englisches B&B vorstellt. Lichtdurchflutete Aufenthaltsräume, schöne Terrasse, ein Gastgeber, der Bob Dylan Fan ist und die schweren Koffer in den ersten Stock trägt - was will man mehr? Zu Fuss ist man in 10 Minuten "unten" im Städtchen, die Lage von Kerryanna ist auch für den Besuch vom Eden Project und von den Lost Gardens ideal. Wir haben allerdings auf diese teuren Touristen-Fallen verzichtet und können stattdessen folgende Ausflüge empfehlen: Tregrehan Garden in St Austell (klein, aber fein), Wheal Martyn Clayworks (Museum mit schöner Umgebung), Tregargus Hidden Valley (schöner Spaziergang). Bob till you drop, nicht wahr, Mike?

Der "Aufstieg" zum Kerryanna ist zu Fuss recht steil für Leute mit Gehbeschwerden, aber Mike bietet unten an der Steigung einen Parkplatz an.

The room was airy and spacious , and the hosts were friendly and amenable . We would certainly stay again .

Excellent return visit. Good quality freshly cooked breakfast. Mike always there with local information for our daily walks. Everything very clean.

If we Germans are said to have a love of high quality standards, attention to detail but also a penchant for nitpicking, this review has to be very short - because Caroline and Mark demand everything from even a German with their exceptional quality for a b&b to live this peculiarity 😊In a nutshell: Caroline and Mark offer a (new) b&b standard “at its best” - that's 5 stars across the board - plus an additional German star! Thank you very much, Caroline and Mark for the extraordinary experience and the beautiful days!!! You, Cornwall and Mevagissey will remain unforgettable!

But :-) that Caroline and Mark don't completely shake the world of German standards: The internet with the existing but weak 38 MB should be strengthened to 59.89 MB 😊 😊 and the color of the morning toasts, which is not always golden brown due to Mark's new high-tech toaster, should be optimized by 0.89 levels 😊 😊😊

The hosts Mike and Caroline were lovely very informative of the area and very friendly, the room was spacious and very comfortable, the breakfast was very nice plenty of choice . Would definitely stay if we were going to Mevagissey again .

We were looking for a nice place close to the sea to stay 3 nights for exploring the southern peninsula of Cornwall, so we booked Caroline's and Michael's wonderful Country House months in advance. We were so overwhelmed by the hospitality we were granted, by the cleanliness of the place, by the view to the sea from our window, by the luxurious equipment of our room, by the meadows and the trees surrounding the house with so many birds singing - in brief we found a true little isle of tranquility. We had a phantastic selection of breakfast, various styles of eggs prepared to order, much better than what you would get even in a good hotel. Michael and Caroline also gave us some really helpful hints how to best plan our days, what is truly worth seeing and what might not be, some helpful driving recommendations etc. Many thanks to you both to have made our stay such memorable, we greatly enjoyed our time with you and certainy regret to not have planned to stay for even longer. We strongly recommend to anyone to stay a couple of days at Kerryanna Country House Bed and Breakfast.

There is nothing that we could think of, that we did not enjoy 100%.
