The Hawkenbury

Room was clean, comfortable and had everything needed for one night. Owners and cat friendly.

Not open when I arrived but there was a number to call to be let in. They do not serve food on a Tuesday night which is not made clear during booking, luckily I saw a review stating this so I had food with me as they are quite a way out from other pubs or shops.

Breakfast was outstanding !

Lovely location, breakfast was very nice as we're the hosts. Friendly place, excellent beer garden. We will be back

Hot room - could not control room heating.

Lovely pub for our overnight stop. Comfortable room, lovely food. Cuddles with a very friendly cat before dinner and then fun playing with the landlords new puppy at breakfast. We would use again.

If there was a competition for the best shower even as its above a bath the pressure was better than some top hotels I have stayed in. Very spacious room and in honesty I would normally avoid accommodation with pubs but you are tucked securely away behind the car park so zero noise or interruptions. Will definitely stay again.
