A very warm welcome and a helpful host Very nice view over the garden and valley at breakfast time ( not from the room) The room had aircon for very hot weather (we did not need to use it) The bed was comfortable and there was no traffic noise at night It was within walking distance (10 mins down hill) for several restaurants and the town centre The owners had dogs, that 'disappeared' while we were there - which was thoughtful. We did not ask for this.

The opaque glass door into the shower room was very stylish, but the light was on a sensor motion and shone through the door for a few minutes after using WC. This disturbed my partner in bedroom at night and you could not turn it off . There was no 'night light' alternative. Although there was drinking water by the bedside, it was not clear that the tap water was from a water softener - and did not taste very nice to drink.

Very good communication via text. Dietary preferences were no problem, lovely breakfast. Very comfortable room in quiet location. View from breakfast room / patio is super.

​Our two-night stay at Highview was perfect in every way. The room was not just clean; it was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable we felt right at home. ​What really made our trip, though, were our hosts, Rachel and Roy. They were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in their garden, which was a spectacular and tranquil space. And of course, the breakfast each morning was absolutely fabulous—a perfect start to the day. ​We honestly can't praise Highview enough. It was an unforgettable stay, and we are already looking forward to returning. If you're looking for a top-notch bed and breakfast experience, you simply must stay here.

A lovely home from home feel to the room. Really comfy with plenty of water and lovely touches like herbal teas and a mini fridge with proper milk. A lovely warm welcome from Rachel. This will be my new favourite for business trips to the area.
